The need for asbestos awareness training
Despite the UK government banning asbestos from use in 1999, asbestos-related diseases are still responsible for more than 1,800 deaths in the UK each year. It's therefore vital that anyone who has the potential of being exposed to asbestos fibres at work to have asbestos awareness training.
As an employer or property landlord, it is your legal obligation to ensure employees know where asbestos containing materials are likely to be found in buildings, as well as how to avoid the risk of exposure. Our asbestos training course provides a basic introduction to asbestos to help ensure you meet your legislative duty of care.
